Directions to Training/Test Grounds
For all outdoor clinics and tests, we meet first at the main training fields located in Smithfield, Maine. After check-in, members can go to other training sites.
Smithfield Training Grounds (1011 Village Road, Smithfield, Maine):
- Via I-95, Take Exit 127 (Waterville/Oakland)
- If coming from the North, turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto Kennedy Memorial Drive (Rte. 137)
- If coming from the South, turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Kennedy Memorial Drive (Rte. 137)
- Go through Oakland, traveling 8.7 miles to intersection of Rte. 137 and Rte. 8
- At that intersection turn right onto Rte. 8
- Proceed 3 miles to Smithfield Village and continue 0.9 miles past the Smithfield Post Office and the Ice Cream Place to the test/clinic field on Rt. 8 on Right.
- Pull down the gravel entrance, past the old barn to the parking area at the top of the knoll.
